2024’s Highlights: A Roundup and Forecast for 2025
As we close out a dynamic and productive year at Steel City Consulting, we take a moment to celebrate our significant achievements and look forward to the exciting opportunities that 2025 will bring.
Celebrating 2024’s Highlights
A New Home:
This year marked a major milestone for us as we relocated to our new office at SUM Studios in Heeley, Sheffield. This vibrant and inspiring space has allowed us the room to grow, collaborate more effectively, and better serve our clients. Being just under a mile from the city centre has provided us with opportunities to network within local community.
Team Expansion:
We’re thrilled to have expanded our team with three exceptional individuals who have already made significant contributions to our growth:
- Paul joined as our Business Development Manager, helping us expand our client base and explore new opportunities.
- Mark came on board as our Logistics Manager, playing a key role in streamlining operations and ensuring timely delivery of our services.
- Enya, our Marketing Executive, has brought fresh energy to our branding and outreach efforts.
Everyone has already made a tremendous impact, and we’re excited to see how their contributions continue to drive us forward.
New Partnerships and Clients:
This year, we had the privilege of working with some fantastic new clients and forging partnerships with suppliers who share our commitment to excellence.
Enhanced Sustainability Services:
We’ve also made significant strides in our commitment to sustainability. Our IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) services have evolved, with a greater focus on testing, refurbishing, and reselling IT equipment. This has helped us close the loop on the IT lifecycle, offering clients a full circular IT platform. Additionally, through our alternative channels, we’re now reaching more people to encourage and promote sustainable practices. Looking Ahead to 2025
As we celebrate the progress we’ve made, we’re equally excited about what’s to come. We’ve set ambitious goals for 2025, and here’s what we’re focusing on:
Further Team Growth:
We’re planning to expand our team even further in 2025 and will be hiring a Marketing Manager in the New Year to help drive our growth and outreach efforts, as well as filling other key roles to strengthen the services we provide. The addition of this team member will be instrumental in helping us scale, innovate, and continue to deliver exceptional service.
Expanding Professional Services:
We are committed to further expanding our professional services in 2025, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed our clients’ evolving needs with service delivery through design, installation, and configuration work. We’re looking to position Steel City Consulting as a more consultancy-driven business while still maintaining our core strength which is providing sustainable and innovative IT hardware and software solutions.
Building Stronger Local Connections:
One of our key goals for 2025 is to network more actively within our local community and build meaningful relationships in Sheffield and beyond. We’ll be attending more local professional meetups, national IT networking events, and industry trade shows to raise our profile and grow our presence. Through these connections, we aim to build a broader network, share knowledge, and create new opportunities for collaboration. We’re excited about bringing Steel City Consulting to the forefront of the IT innovation and sustainability conversation on a national scale.
Increased Revenue and Investment:
With the new strategies, partnerships, and services we’ve put in place, we are targeting substantial revenue growth in 2025. This will allow us to reinvest in our services, technology, and most importantly, our people. We’re focused on organic growth, ensuring that every step we take in 2025 contributes to long-term success.
