The company’s ethos is to forge strong, lasting client relationships built on trust and honesty and aims to gain a deep understanding of its clients’ requirements. “I want to build a profitable company but one that delivers excellent value for money solutions” states Dan. “I’ve worked for companies in the past and it was all about getting the sale, whether the company needed the service or not. Steel City Consulting is about offering the right solution at a fair price and building lasting client relationships”.

Steel City Consulting puts its five main values at the heart of its business. These are: integrity, reliability, perseverance, deliverability, and dedication. Everything the company does is carried out with these values in mind.

Our Company Aims

Steel City Consulting has shifted to significantly reducing our C02 emissions

With the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference highlighting the damage us humans are doing to our planet the focus for Steel City Consulting has shifted to significantly reducing our C02 emissions with a drive to become net zero by 2030. Over the last year we have done our best to minimise our own internal emissions to meet scope 1 and 2 (emissions that are owned or controlled by our company) and we are now fully focused on scope 3 (emissions not produced by us).

Steel City Consulting have a passion to serve the wider community and to that extent are running sustainability programmes, such as refreshing and recycling hardware, to lower C02 emissions. Our focus is on finding solutions for the sector in respect to materials and energy usage. “Going forward, sustainability will be at the heart of everything we do”, states Dan, “I want Steel City Consulting to be the leader in this space and where better than Sheffield the greenest city in Europe to lead this charge”.

Steel City Consulting make efforts to support all 17 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, however, we have identified 3 that are the most relevant to our business, these include good health and well-being for all; responsible consumption and production; and to promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation.
