The ASR1002-X combines a dual-core route processor with Cisco IOS XE Software and a Cisco QuantumFlow Processor forwarding plane, delivering scalable throughput from a base 5 Gbps up to 36 Gbps (via software licences) to support growing traffic demands and advanced services.
It includes 6 × Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 × 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks, and three Shared Port Adapter (SPA) slots for modular interface expansion, all in a 2 RU rack-mountable chassis with dual redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.
