The Juniper MX10003 Universal Routing Platform is a compact, high-density edge router delivering 2.4 Tbps of forwarding capacity in a 3 RU chassis tailored for service provider, cloud and large enterprise edge and aggregation use cases. Designed around the programmable Trio chipset and running Junos OS, it supports modular interface cards that mix and match 10 GbE, 40 GbE and 100 GbE connectivity at line rate and provides rich multi-service Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities alongside advanced timing and automation features.
The MX10003 combines industry-leading port density with resilient control-plane and power-supply redundancy for high availability in space- and power-constrained environments.
