The DCS-7280SR2-48YC6 series is a high-density, mixed-speed switch ideal for leaf or ToR layers in modern data-centre and cloud fabrics. It combines 25 GbE server-access ports with 100 GbE uplinks for efficient aggregation, while leveraging Arista EOS for routing, overlay and automation features.
Ideal deployment/environment: Hyper-converged server racks, storage clusters or virtualised workloads where many servers connect at 25 GbE with 100 GbE uplinks. An excellent leaf/ToR choice in leaf-spine architectures requiring mixed-speed flexibility, high throughput, and the full programmability and automation capabilities of Arista EOS.
