The Juniper ACX7348 is a high-performance Cloud Metro router in the ACX7300 family designed for service provider metro aggregation, enterprise edge and converged access fabrics. It combines a fixed port plane with modular I/O expansion in a compact 3 U, industrial-rated chassis, delivering 2.4 Tbps forwarding capacity and broad multiservice capabilities under Junos OS Evolved.
With dual Routing Engines, redundant power modules and rich protocol support, the ACX7348 addresses the requirements of next-generation IP transport, mobile backhaul and Ethernet service delivery.
Ideal deployment / environment:
The ACX7348 is well suited to metro aggregation, service-edge and carrier Ethernet applications that require high port density across multi-rate client interfaces and high-speed uplinks. Its mix of fixed 1/10/25 GbE and 100 GbE ports ó combined with modular I/O for 50 GbE through 400 GbE connectivity ó supports flexible traffic engineering, mobile backhaul and wholesale Ethernet services.
Redundant control and power subsystems, MACsec and rich Junos OS feature sets make it a strong fit for distributed service provider networks, 5G transport, large-enterprise edge routing and converged IP access fabrics where performance, scalability and resilience are priorities.
