The Juniper PTX10003 is a compact, high-capacity fixed packet transport router designed for service provider, cloud and core network deployments that demand dense Ethernet connectivity and robust routing scale.
Available in 8 Tbps and 16 Tbps variants in a 3 RU chassis, it supports multi-rate 10 GbE, 40 GbE, 100 GbE, 200 GbE and 400 GbE interfaces via universal QSFP-DD and QSFP28 optics, with 100 GbE inline MACsec encryption across all ports. Powered by Junos OS Evolved, the PTX10003 combines high throughput, deep buffers and rich IP/MPLS services for peering, core and edge transport roles.
